What "Verified" vs "Pending" means

Verified means our editor has cross-checked the supplier's claimed price band, lead time and product line against the supplier's own public website OR direct supplier communication. Pending means the entry was assembled from third-party industry reporting and has not yet been confirmed directly by the supplier. Pending suppliers are still listed because the third-party data is consistent and credible — but their scores carry an extra confidence-interval caveat.

How a supplier moves up the score

The five dimensions are objective enough that suppliers can move their score by changing facts on the ground:

We do not negotiate scores in exchange for partnership terms. Suppliers cannot pay for placement, verification, or favourable scoring.
